Organising work · Practical guide
How to organise site visits and jobs throughout the week
A practical way to collect requests, prepare appointments and handle unexpected changes.
Turn a request into an appointment
A call or message is the starting point. Before filing it away, collect the name, contact details, address and reason for the visit. When a date is agreed, put it in your schedule so you can find it without rereading every conversation.
Prepare what you can before leaving
Spend a few minutes checking the next day. Verify customer details and job information; check materials in advance if you know what is needed. Consider travel and expected job duration when arranging appointments.
Leave room for the unexpected
A job can take longer than expected. When plans change, update appointments and contact the people affected. A useful schedule reflects the current situation: keeping an outdated time makes priorities harder to understand.
End the day with a short review
Review completed and unfinished work. AtelierX's Today view highlights overdue appointments and provides shortcuts to call or navigate to customers. Use this information to decide the next step; scheduling stays in your hands.
